Touchy Subjects

There are many things that are questioned, debated and discussed in the Christian realm.
This morning, on Godtube.com I saw a video from a pastor that put an interesting slant to one of those things.
Christians and Drinking. Is it okay? Is it a sin? Is it personal conviction? Is it cultural?
I really like the way he tells it and thought I would share.

Should Christian's Drink Alcohol? Read here to find out.

Thank heaven's for father-in-law's!

I just need to say first that if I could've found my camera I would've used it.
I woke up and went straight to the bathroom to brush my teeth. As I started, there was something in the mirror that caught my eye. I turned around and looked up toward the ceiling and there it was...it wasn't a figment of my imagination. It was a big spider!!!
I hate spiders.

They are creepy.

They are ugly.

I freeze when I am around them.

Hello, my name is Stacey and I am a self diagnosed arachnaphobic.

Seeing as my spider killing husband would be unable to help me today I did what any other red blooded American girl would do. I called my Daddy.

But alas, he would be unable to help because he was on his way to a job interview. He told me to use a broom but I told him that if I missed and it fell on me I would die. And he did what any red blooded American father would do. He laughed at me.

So I called my father-in-law because I knew he would be up and even probably out and about.
And he was and came to the rescue.

God Bless him!

Mamma's Boy

I have 3 boys.

My oldest.

The midddle.

The newbie.

Sometimes they get along just fantastically.

And other times....well, we won't discuss those.

The oldest:
Enjoys being with family. Doesn't really matter who. He was an easy going baby and toddler. Shy but friendly and for the most part pretty easy going.
Now, he's more outgoing but not quite as easy going.

The middle:
Always outgoing and not shy. As a toddler he would ride in the stroller, grocery cart or wagon waving at anyone who seemed to be looking in his direction.
He, too, enjoys the family but his preference is his Daddy.

Then there's this one...
I don't know what to do with a Mamma's boy.
I...

I...

Okay, I'll just say it.
I never wanted a Mamma's Boy!
I love him.
He's sweet and precious.
I will keep him.
But I would prefer for him to grow out of this....
Please don't tell me I'm horrible.
I'm just tired.
